Data Sources & Licensing
AutoNergy is built entirely on third-party data we do not own. This page lists every dataset we use, the source body, the licence under which we use it, and the attribution they require. If you are a rights holder and want a correction or removal, email legal@autonergy.co.
Authority per market
Each market's authority is the canonical source. AutoNergy normalizes their published figures into a consistent shape so you can compare like for like.

Country-level summary figures shown on the world map for the additional ~36 markets are sourced from IEA Global EV Outlook, OICA and national bodies, and are clearly marked as a "Limited summary" inside the dashboard.

Brand logo SVGs are sourced from Wikimedia Commons (public domain or Creative Commons), simple-icons (CC0), or are typeset wordmarks we have created where no licence-clear official mark is available.

Methodology & corrections
Each per-year data file in /app/public/data/*.json carries a _methodology note explaining: (a) which annual published figure the total comes from, (b) how brand-level units are derived, (c) whether regional shares are sourced or proportionally estimated, (d) the source URL where readers can verify. Spotted an inaccuracy? Email corrections@autonergy.co.
Audits
The /docs/audits/ folder in our repository contains independent third-party audits of (1) the data accuracy of every country-year file, (2) the editorial accuracy of every blog post, (3) the brand-logo correctness, and (4) the legal/privacy/security posture of the site, all dated 2026-05-01. We commit to publishing material audit findings publicly.
