By accessing autonergy.co you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please do not use the site.
2. What AutoNergy is
AutoNergy is an independent, non-commercial editorial project that visualises publicly available automotive market data. We are not a manufacturer, government body, industry association, or financial advisor. Nothing on this site is investment advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any vehicle, security, or product.
3. Use of the site
You may view, share, and quote our visualisations and editorial commentary for personal, educational, or journalistic purposes, with attribution to "AutoNergy (autonergy.co)". You may not:
- scrape the site at high frequency or in a manner that overloads it
- reproduce the underlying datasets in bulk for commercial redistribution
- misrepresent our work as your own
- use AutoNergy branding to imply endorsement of any product, vehicle, or company
4. Data accuracy disclaimer
All registration, sales, and market-share figures are derived from third-party sources (SIMI, SMMT, SIAM, FADA, KBA, JADA, CAAM, Cox Automotive, Wards Auto, OICA, IEA, BloombergNEF, government open-data portals, and others — see the Sources page). We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the data. Source bodies may revise figures, and we may not always reflect those revisions immediately. Use at your own risk.
5. Trademarks and brand logos
Manufacturer names and logos shown on AutoNergy (Tata, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, MG, BYD, Toyota, Tesla, Volkswagen, etc.) are the registered trademarks of their respective owners. We display them solely as identifiers in editorial commentary on the automotive market — a use protected as nominative fair use under 15 U.S.C. § 1125 and Trade Mark Directive (EU) 2015/2436 Art. 14(1)(c). AutoNergy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. If you are a rights holder and have a concern, email legal@autonergy.co and we will respond promptly.
6. User submissions
The only data you can submit to us is your email address (newsletter). By subscribing you confirm the email is yours, you are 16 or older, and you consent to receive the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
7. Third-party links
The site links to source providers (SIMI, SMMT, KBA, etc.), CDNs, and tooling. We are not responsible for content on third-party sites.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoNergy and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising out of your use of the site or reliance on the data. Your sole remedy is to stop using the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, where the law forbids such exclusion.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, except that consumers may sue in their home jurisdiction where local law gives that right.
